Doctor Who Black Guardian Trilogy DVD With Deleted Scenes

Honestly, can you ever get too much Doctor Who? Surely not, and if you are a big Dr. Who fan then you are anxiously awaiting the release of the Doctor Who Black Guardian Trilogy DVD next month. August 10th is the big release date, and Who fans have already placed their pre-order for this exciting release.

This three DVD boxed set includes Mawdryn Undead, Terminus, and Enlightenment. In Mawdryn Undead, Turlough is recruited to assassinate the Doctor by the Black Guardian. Although he seems little more than the average student, Turlough is actually an alien who believes that this mission is the way for him to get to return home. While at the same time TARDIS has its instruments malfunction as they are jammed by some type of signal which the Doctor soon discovers is a beam to guide the ships transmat capsule coming from the Earth. After many trials and tribulations, Tegan and Nyssa encounter a badly burned man and are left wondering if it could be the Doctor.

In Terminus, Turlough, still under Black Guardians influence, damages the TARDIS controls forcing it to attach to a space liner. Tegan and Turlough get lost in the infrastructure, while the Doctor and Nyssa meet Kari and Olvir, the space pirates that have come on board.

And in Enlightenment, the Doctor and his companions find themselves in a sailing race against mind-reading Eternals for the ultimate the prize of Enlightenment. These Eternals feed off the minds of their unsuspecting human captives.

Finally some of the best of Doctor Who is now coming out on DVD and it will be so incredible to be able to watch these incredible classics in higher quality and sound than ever before.
